Founder and Chairman of JVA Partners and the Acting CEO for Delphian Systems. John is an entrepreneur and private investor with extensive experience in rebuilding and growing middle market manufacturing and technology companies. Since founding JVA Partners in 1998, he has led numerous “buy and build” acquisitions in which he assumed CEO and active board roles as part of building best class executive teams and best-of-breed business models.
John is a longstanding member of Vistage and board member of its Manufacturing Network, the Association for Engineering Management, and the Turnaround Management Association. He has published various articles and white papers and conducted executive seminars sponsored by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the International Institute for Productivity Improvement, and Global Research, among others.
During his consulting career in the early 90’s, John managed the largest business process reengineering project in the country that affected hundreds of thousands of enlisted and civilian personnel. The project involved integrating the Army personnel function (Regular, Reserve, and National Guard) by replacing the old processes supported by older microfiche technology with new processes enabled by new digital technology.

Leads the Delphian wireless technology group that focuses on the development and integration of embedded hardware and firmware, module design, mobile applications, and cloud architecture integration. Ashok’s organizational capabilities include testing and quality control for SecuRemote applications and devices including modules, bridge/gateways, and related products.
Prior to joining Delphian in 2010, Ashok was President of Intrigue Tech Solutions, an engineering design firm that developed products from concept to solution. Between 1994 and 2006 he served in technical leadership positions at Motorola. B.S. in Electrical Engineering from D.D.I.T, India, M.S. Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology with concentration in software development.
Chief Cloud Architect and leader of the SR cloud services and portal development technology team. Arek works closely with Ashok to ensure seamless system integration from the module to the cloud including SecuRemote End-to-End Security. He has over 20 years of professional experience in leading diverse software development and system integration projects in the financial, education, entertainment, and manufacturing industries.
Arek is passionate about software and the value of software architecture as it relates to IoT opportunities and challenges. B.S. in Computer Information Systems, from DeVry Institute of Technology.
Geof Cohler is an Internet of Things and wireless enthusiast with extensive knowledge in low-power wireless technology, embedded processing and software development. As Business Development Manager for Delphian Systems, Geof applies his technical background toward successful partnerships with Delphian clients working to bring secure IoT devices and systems to market.
Prior to joining Delphian, Geof worked at Anaren Microwave (low-power wireless modules) and Texas Instruments (wireless, embedded and DSP). He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and lives in Boston, MA. Geof is a co-organizer of the Security of Things Meetup group in Boston with over 800 members.
Responsible for the finance, accounting and administrative needs and legal affairs of Delphian Systems.
A Partner with JVA Partners George has over 25 years of financial and business strategy experience in middle market service, manufacturing, and technology companies where he has served in management and advisory roles. George oversees the general JVA finance and administrative needs and the implementation of the JVA Alpha Board (specialized and active executive board) and RVC (rapid value creation) methodology and tools across all holdings.
Prior to joining JVA in 2004 George spent 5 years in the technology field where he led the turnaround of an internet technology company and engineered the start-up of an ancillary technology services firm. He began his career in 1989 with the LaSalle Bank Group/ABNAMRO as a Management Associate. During his 10 year career with the LaSalle Bank Group, he worked within the Middle Market Commercial Lending group, rising to the position of Vice President and Team Leader within the Metropolitan Lending Group.
